Common questions
Is there a commission on my bookings?
No. You keep 100% of your service fee. Book a Ceremony charges customers a separate platform fee β it doesn't come out of your pocket.
What traditions do you support?
Hindu, Sikh, Islamic, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Jain, Interfaith, Non-Denominational, and more. If you perform ceremonies, there's a place for you.
How do I get paid?
Via Stripe direct deposit. Customers pay a deposit at booking β you receive that payout after the ceremony is complete. Setup takes about 5 minutes.
What if I want to decline a booking?
You always can. Review every request before accepting. If the date, location, or service doesn't work for you, decline with one click.
I already have my own clients. Why list here?
Your existing clients book you directly β that doesn't change. This platform brings you clients you wouldn't have found otherwise, with zero effort on your end.
How long does profile approval take?
Most profiles are reviewed within 24β48 hours. Credential verification (for the Verified badge) may take a day or two longer.
When I connect Google Calendar, Google shows an "unverified app" warning. Is that safe?
Yes, completely safe. We use Google Calendar to sync your bookings β we never read emails or other data. The warning appears because our Google verification is in review (takes several weeks). Click "Advanced" β "Go to Book a Ceremony (unsafe)" to proceed. The warning disappears once Google completes their review.
