Is Book a Ceremony free to use as a customer?
Yes. Creating an account and browsing officiants is completely free. You only pay when you book β and you'll see pricing upfront before committing.
How are officiants verified?
Every officiant's identity is verified by Stripe (including government-issued ID) before they can take bookings, and every officiant attests that they're legally authorized to perform the ceremonies they offer where they serve. Credentials such as ordination or registration documents are optional β when an officiant provides them, we review them and the profile shows a Credentialed badge. We don't independently confirm legal authority, so check that your officiant is authorized in your jurisdiction.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation and refund policies are set by each officiant and shown clearly on their profile before you book. We recommend reviewing them before submitting a request.
